You already live there and you are not going to rebuild. There is still a great deal that can be done — and mostly without knocking anything down.
This is the cheapest service we offer and also the one people most often come back from. We walk through the flat or house, work out what is not right and why, and you leave with a list of concrete steps ordered by what they cost and what they deliver.
What we look at
- where the bed sits and whether you can see the door from it,
- how you move through the flat and what gets in the way,
- what you see first when you come home,
- how the lighting is handled and whether it runs too cool in the evening,
- where things nobody uses are accumulating,
- how the ba-gua zones fall across your floor plan,
- which compass directions suit you personally, based on your date of birth.
How it works
-
1
We agree a time
The analysis happens at your home, otherwise there is little point. Allow two to three hours.
-
2
We walk the space together
We ask how you use each room and what irritates you about it. Most problems emerge from the answers rather than from the plan.
-
3
You get a written report
Within a week we send a report with recommendations split into what can be done immediately and for nothing, what costs a few thousand, and what needs a larger intervention.
-
4
We can carry on
If you decide to go ahead with a design or a build, the fee for the analysis comes off the price.
When it helps most
When you sleep badly in the flat, when you cannot concentrate at home, when you have the feeling that the space simply does not work and cannot say why. Or when you are about to move and want to lay the new flat out properly first time — that is the very best moment, because nothing then has to be undone.
Frequently asked questions
How much does the analysis cost?
+
The price depends on the size of the property and how far we travel. For a typical Prague flat it runs into the low thousands of crowns. If you then commission a design or a build, the fee is deducted from it.
Will I have to rebuild anything?
+
Usually not. Most recommendations concern furniture placement, lighting, colour and what to get rid of. We propose structural changes only where nothing else solves the problem, and always with a cost estimate.
How long does the visit take?
+
Two to three hours depending on the size of the property. The written report follows within a week.
Do you travel outside Prague?
+
Yes, travel is simply added to the price and agreed in advance so nothing surprises you.
Let's talk it over
The first consultation is free and without obligation. We can meet at your place, on the plot, or over a coffee — whichever suits you.
